Coffee Storage
Freshness is the key to enjoying the full flavor and aroma of Robledo's Kaffe. Here is how to keep your coffee tasting its best:
Store in an Airtight Container
- Keep your coffee in a sealed, airtight bag or container with a one‑way valve.
- This prevents oxygen from dulling the flavor.
Pro Tip: Our bags are designed to protect your coffee's freshness.
Keep it in a Cool, Dry, and Dark Place
- Avoid direct sunlight, heat, and humidity.
- A pantry or cupboard is ideal.
Pro Tip: Never store coffee near your stove or in clear jars exposed to light.
Avoid the Fridge or Freezer
- Coffee absorbs odors and moisture easily.
- Storing it in the fridge or freezer can affect flavor.
Exception: If you must store for several weeks, use the freezer in an airtight bag, and only freeze once.
Grind Just Before Brewing
- Whole beans stay fresh longer than pre‑ground coffee.
- Grind right before brewing to capture the best aroma and flavor.
Consume Within 2–4 Weeks of Roasting
- Freshly roasted coffee is at its peak flavor in the first month.
- Check the roast date on your Robledo's Kaffe bag.
Quick Recap:
- Airtight container.
- Cool, dry, dark storage.
- Avoid fridge and freezer (except in emergencies).
- Grind just before brewing.
- Enjoy within 2–4 weeks for peak flavor.
